Learning Observed
During iExperience, Henry opted to participate in a two part learning experience about the animals of the Amazon Rainforest. The learning involved the the first session was identifying if an animal actually lived in the Amazon and examining it to find out what it's special features (adaptations) are. Henry was able to self direct most of his learning during this session and remained engaged the whole time. Henry was expected to report back on at least three animals and was able to show evidence for five within the allocated time. Henry can now describe the adaptations these animals have that ensures their continued survival.

Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Henry showed curiosity and completed all of the expected work in the allocated time with minimal support. He selected a device that was appropriate for the task and used it sensibly (Managing Self). Because Henry worked independently, he was able to discover information that he found interesting and at times shared these facts with a buddy. He will be able to draw on this learning as Prior Knowledge in the future (Thinking).
